Who are The Lemmon Sisters? Band? Family? Family Band? The short story is that the Lemmon Sisters have been performing professionally as jazz/swing singers since the summer of 1999. Music has always been a meaningful part of their lives and a way for them to connect joyfully with others.
Their decision to have fun together singing music from the 30s through 60s was conscious and easy -- music from these years is simply the richest repertoire to explore the mixing of voices. They continue to explore vocal harmonies through arranging some of the newer iconic songs from the eighties and nineties and this has been a great source of fun for them and their audiences.
